I read in today’s Weekly Review article about those magic vitamins your partner Joanne dispenses daily for you. Any chance you can let us know the brands as you don’t look too bad for a near 70 year old chain smoker.

    Cheers

    Bruce

    Dear John
I think this idea could transform Australia, look at what water from the Colorado has done for California and the USA as a whole.
The benefit to our country could be absolutely enormous.
I envisage perhaps a combination of pipes and south-flowing central rivers to get the water across to the Condamine from where it’s all natural flow – all the way to the Murray mouth.
I have no idea of how much it would cost, but why not divert thirty odd billion of the broadband spending debacle to a cause such as this for a start. Perhaps Geoff McMahon would be able to provide an estimate of the cost, but in the end considering the benefits to our nation the cost does not really matter
In my opinion this could be THE most important problem for our nation to solve.

Thanks for your website and this opportunity to communicate.

I watched QandA last night John – and I have to say I was embarrassed – not only because I just joined the Liberal Party but also because we share the same surname!

Professionally I work with CEOs but I am of course here not touting for business! On the contrary John your message came across to me as ‘arrogant’ and ‘bombastic’ but agree you made some good points there for the big end of town. But your message was considerably blunted (if not obliterated) by 40% of your style of engagement and insistance of dominance which broke the accepted norms of this forum QandA. I see this as counter-productive for your own message.

When you accept to go on these shows – no doubt to add some forthright controversy from the media viewpoint (ie which serves their interests which I have no doubt you know well) – do accept the ground rules and respect the chair and do not try to take over as Chair. The move backfires against you and your message. You will also win points with those you are trying to influence if you do not insult other participants – as being ‘stupid’, ‘ignorant’, ‘talking rubbish’. This style (with respect in this personal website communication to you) really does not do you any good – or the causes you espouse.

Sorry if I offend you – but you are a straight talker – and I can be also … but hopefully with greater impact and influence.

Re the program subject matter – it is about our children and grandchildren. it is about morality and decency (yes I can still believe this is possible). it is about survival on this small beatutiful planet.

    Thanks for listening.

My mobile if you wish to engage further is 0402 0423 415.

I am a 56 year young Electrical Engineer working in the Oil and Gas industry, Last night on Q&A, you quoted my vision for a water pipeline from the Ord fiver, which I submitted to countless ministers state and federal. In my industry we build pipelines, the 850km pipeline in the Gorgon Gas field is one of ours. With Cap in Hand I ask if I can have some eyeball time with you.

Jack is there any chance of you getting Mark Williams on your show?

  13. John Elliott says:

Thanks for the input, we are in the process of reworking the entire website, however the latest video clip has been uploaded to YouTube.

So enjoy you morning coffee whilst you watch http://jdereport.com.au/implications-of-a-uk-hung-parliament

Just a heads up that these movies won’t play on an iPhone/iPad.

I’d suggest using a service such as blip.tv or YouTube to have native h264 support.

Otherwise I won’t be able to watch these movies when having a coffee :)
