Rare Barraband “L’ Oiseau de Paradis Rouge” Original Print For Sale
I was pleased when a private collector recently approached us to sell his original Barraband Bird of Paradise hand painted lithographic print on my website as I, together with other bird print collectors, rank him as the leading international bird artist. In my April 1st 20O9 website article on Australian Birds, I ranked him ahead of Edward Lear and John Gould.

More Rare John Gould Prints For Display & Sale
We have just received three more rare John Gould prints from Full Circle’s extensive portfolio to add to the previous Gould prints displayed on my website.
The bird print is a rare cancelled edition of John Gould, where according to serious Gould collectors, there are only 2 or 3 in Australian private ownership. Full Circle has one for sale. Apparently Gould had already started the artwork and lithograph process before he decided to cancel this print and some others from his subscription catalogue. Some of these were later sold to private collectors.
The other two prints depict the extinct Tasmanian Tiger (1936) where the Tassie Tiger image is used by the Cascade Brewery as a logo on their various premium bottled beer brands. These rare prints are available for sale only as a set for $30,000.
