Lord Taverners Annual Ron Barassi Senior Debate

Next Wednesday 28th July I will be attending the Tasmanian Taverners annual debate in Hobart where the topic for debate is Football Salary Caps.

On the AFL team will be myself, Grant Thomas and Caroline Wilson from The Age. On the NRL side is Roy Masters, Robbie Kearns and Tim Cox.

Ron Barassi will be the moderator. The breakfast normally draws crowds in excess of 300 and given the recent Storm debacle on salary cap breaches this years event should be a beauty. Paul Sheahan, the Tassie manager for Lord Taverners, as usual, has done a good job in lining up Hobart and Tassie political, business and sporting identities to attend.
