John Elliott’s Business Life-Episode 2 “Henry Jones South African Exit”

In this episode John recalls how he and Richard Wiesener, the new Henry Jones Finance Director went to South Africa in January 1973 to negotiate the sale of the Henry Jones South African canning operations (excluding pineapples) for around A$10 million much to the delight of John’s financial backers. This was the start of many successful and timely cash release strategies used over the next 18 years.
