If the recent trend of left handers being elected as political leaders continues, then the odds are shortening on Tony Abbott, the left handed Coalition Leader, being the next Australian Prime Minister.
President Obama is a left hander as is the recently appointed youthful looking British Prime Minister, David Cameron who in similar circumstances to which Abbott is now facing, had to do a deal with a minority party, the Liberal Democrats, to gain power.
As good things happen in threes, it could be a good omen for Tony Abbott to become the first left handed Australian Prime Minister for some time.
