The management of the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania (NAMT) pulled off a coup last year by reaching agreement with Neville Crichton, who owns the only surviving and running 1921 Alfa Romeo G1, to ship his prized vintage Alfa to Tasmania to enable the Alfa G1 to anchor the NAMT’s special “Bella Alfa Romeo” display at their Launceston premises.

He was appointed to the Elders Strategy Team in the early 1980s and was sent to Canada within days of his appointment to oversee the Carling O’Keefe brewery acquisition. He also he spent 6 months in New Zealand in 1988 following the New Zealand Forests Products takeover by Elders Resources.
